
i know sweden is a leader in kick ass design, but really, a "glass" cube in the trees. seriously AWEsome. time for a nordic adventure asap.
this tree hotel is in the far north of sweden, close to the arctic circle. it's a 4×4×4 meters aluminum structure clad in mirrored glass. the interior is made of plywood and the windows give a 360 degree view of the surroundings. to prevent birds colliding with the reflective glass, a transparent ultraviolet color is laminated into the glass panes which are visible only to birds. access to the cabin is by a rope bridge connected to the next tree. for about 3990 SEK/night this place is mine. wowzaaaaaa!
