life these days has been busy busy. but now that i'm back home for the holidays and surrounded by family and friends i've been taking some much needed time to relax, reflect on this past year and look forward to my next adventures. speaking of... here are some recent adventures captured by my trusty iPhone.

...everyone's eating it

while on my weekly trader j's run i made an amazing discovery. cookie butter - aka SPECULOOS. this delicious, indulgent treat tastes like gingerbread biscuits in spreadable form. amazing. i've been eating it by the spoonful and (don't judge) so has my dog ;) sharing the joy! on tuesday some friends hosted a cookie and ornament exchange - and yes - i made gingerbread cookies with speculoos frosting. they were yummmmmmy!
