j and i made a quick trip home over the holiday weekend to spend time with family and friends. as always, the weekend flew by but we were able to squeeze in some time for our favorite qc activity - antiquing! while waiting for one shop to open, we decided to go for a scenic drive. there's nothing like cruising country roads on a beautiful morning, windows down, coffee in hand, listening to your favorite pandora station. we even stopped along the way to pick a wildflower bouquet for my mom and so j could let out some excitement...
